“Why the switch?”  was and still is the top FAQ I get moving from litigation to corporate / commercial work when I joined Tan Peng Chin LLC in 2004.  The change from the adrenaline rush in preparing for contested applications to heated negotiations over stacks of documents is seriously not a bad thing.  Venturing into something new is always a challenge, a new journey with fresh and endless opportunities.  The skills and experiences one gains along the way is, as some would say, priceless.

As much as work takes up most of my waking hours, I also make time for God and leisure, hoping to achieve a balanced life.  To balance the stress of producing lengthy loan, joint venture, distributorship, patent licensing or shareholders agreements before yesterday, I try to relax with leisure activities including going for runs and listening to pop/rock and indie (short for independent) music.
