 VALERIE KOMARAN Valerie started her career as a Senior Paralegal with Tito Isaac & Co LLP where she worked on personal injury, family law and criminal law matters. She then moved on to the Singapore Exchange Limited where she worked as an Associate Legal Counsel supporting the corporate secretarial, operations, internal audit and corporate communications business functions. Valerie then relocated to the United Kingdom where she worked for the United Kingdom branch of Sun Life Financial of Canada, an international life and pensions company. She supported the management team in providing corporate secretarial services, negotiating outsource contracts, resolving contractual and policy holder disputes and providing general legal advice. Valerie was called to the New York bar in October 2005. In her spare time she enjoys reading, travelling, attending comedy events and music concerts.
