Sangeet joined Tan Peng Chin LLC in March 2006 and re-joined in August 2010 as part of the firm's commitment to manage its Knowledge and Business needs more effectively.

As a Knowledge Manager, she stores, classifies and distributes the firm's intellectual capital whether in the form of precedents or in the form of memos or advice given by our lawyers. She is therefore the “guardian” of the firm’s Infobank. In addition to this, Sangeet manages all other resources of the firm including, its library and its subscription to research resources and tools and is responsible for current legal awareness information for the lawyers.

In her Business Development role, Sangeet is primarily responsible for marketing, media relations, client development and client-facing events for the firm. She also conducts Corporate Intelligence Research and assists with the publication of Client Alerts.

Sangeet has worked as a Professional Support Lawyer & Knowledge Manager in two other offshore law firms in the past and now has a total experience of over 10 years in her field of work. Before stepping into the Knowledge Support field, Sangeet was Director of Training at the Law Society of Singapore where she pioneered in helping to organize training events for the legal fraternity in Singapore.

Sangeet graduated in Law from University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom with a Second class upper and was offered a Tutorial Fellowship to complete her LL.M studies. She then worked as a Law Lecturer and part-time lecturer in Lancaster and in other UK colleges. Her subject area of specialization was in Medical Law & Ethics and Business Law.
