Heather started her legal career in the Banking and Real Estate department of one of the largest firms in Singapore. Subsequently, she joined a boutique corporate firm where she worked on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. After this, Heather spent a number of years away from Singapore working and studying. Whilst in London, Heather joined the London office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen Hamilton LLP acting for issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in a wide range of corporate finance transactions. During her time away, Heather also lived in Sydney, during which she did a stint as a Transaction Manager in ANZ Bank.

Heather has a comprehensive property practice involving all aspects of property investment. She has acted for individuals, financial institutions, commercial landlords, listed property companies, real estate developers, REITS and the Housing Development Board, advising on legal, commercial and regulatory issues relating to real property in Singapore.

In addition to a law degree from the National University of Singapore, Heather also holds a Masters of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
