LLB (Hons), National University of Singapore (2002) Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Supreme Court (2003)

Colin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree from the National University of Singapore in 2002 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2003.

From the outset, Colin has dealt almost exclusively in Litigation. His areas of practice include Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury, Corporate and Patent & Trade Mark Litigation. He enjoys trial work and has appeared in many trials in the Subordinate Courts, High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Colin has also extensive experience in Alternate Dispute Resolution, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. Colin is a trained Negotiator and Toastmaster, and has conducted training workshops and seminars on the art of Negotiation, with focus on various forms of negotiation incorporating elements of Cognitive Research Thinking, Effective Body Language, Presentation Skills and Public Speaking Technique and Confidence.

While he considers himself first and foremost a litigator, Colin also provides corporate advice in drafting and reviewing various types of general commercial contracts.

A firm believer in innovation, Colin also keeps up-to-date on various technological trends. He is an avid photographer has a wide range of hobbies, including music, reading, computers, and sports.
