Carmen graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2006 and was called to the English Bar in 2007. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in August 2008.

Prior to joining Tan Peng Chin LLC, Carmen practiced in Malaysia and focused on general corporate and commercial work including the preparation of various commercial agreements for clients in various industries, such as the food & beverage industry and the IT and telecommunication industry, as well as the set up of businesses in Malaysia.

Carmen joins the Corporate, Banking & Finance department in August 2011. In her free time, Carmen enjoys travelling, going to the gym and watching French movies. You can often find her at the gym on weekends. Nothing is as good as a good workout!
